Warranty Policy

At ETS Tractors, we are committed to supplying reliable agricultural and construction equipment sourced from trusted manufacturers and verified suppliers. This Warranty Policy explains the warranty coverage that may apply to new and used equipment purchased through ETS Tractors.

1. Purpose

This Warranty Policy outlines the terms governing warranty coverage, warranty claims, exclusions, and customer responsibilities. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Return & Refund Policy, and any written sales agreement.

2. New Equipment Warranty

Where applicable, new equipment supplied by ETS Tractors may be covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty.

Manufacturer warranties may vary depending on:

  • Equipment manufacturer
  • Model
  • Country of destination
  • Equipment configuration
  • Warranty registration requirements

Customers should review the manufacturer’s warranty documentation provided with their equipment.

3. Used Equipment

Unless otherwise stated in writing, used equipment is generally sold according to its disclosed condition and inspection results.

Where a limited warranty is specifically offered, the applicable coverage, duration, and conditions will be clearly stated in the sales agreement or quotation.

Normal wear associated with age and previous use is not considered a warranty defect.

4. Pre-Delivery Inspection

Before shipment, equipment may undergo inspection procedures including, where applicable:

  • Engine inspection
  • Hydraulic system inspection
  • Transmission evaluation
  • Electrical system verification
  • Safety feature inspection
  • Visual condition assessment
  • Operational testing (where practical)

Inspection results help verify the condition of equipment before delivery but do not extend or replace any manufacturer’s warranty.

5. Warranty Coverage

Where warranty coverage applies, it generally relates to defects in materials or workmanship that occur during the applicable warranty period under normal operating conditions.

Coverage may include repair or replacement of eligible components, subject to the applicable warranty terms.

The method of repair, replacement, or reimbursement will be determined by ETS Tractors and/or the manufacturer, as appropriate.

6. Warranty Exclusions

Warranty coverage does not normally apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic damage
  • Damage caused by accidents
  • Misuse or abuse
  • Improper operation
  • Negligent maintenance
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Improper storage
  • Corrosion or environmental damage
  • Damage resulting from incorrect fuel, lubricants, or fluids
  • Consumable items such as filters, belts, hoses, seals, bulbs, and similar maintenance components unless otherwise specified

7. Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty eligibility, customers should:

  • Operate equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Perform routine maintenance.
  • Use approved fluids and replacement parts where required.
  • Maintain service records.
  • Report suspected defects promptly.
  • Stop operating equipment if continued use may cause additional damage.

Failure to meet these responsibilities may affect warranty eligibility.

8. Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim, customers should provide:

  • Equipment serial number
  • Purchase invoice
  • Description of the issue
  • Photographs or videos where applicable
  • Maintenance records (if requested)
  • Supporting inspection reports

Additional information may be requested to evaluate the claim.

9. Repairs

Warranty repairs may be carried out by:

  • The equipment manufacturer
  • An authorized service provider
  • A qualified repair facility approved by ETS Tractors

Repairs performed without prior authorization may not be eligible for reimbursement.

10. Transportation Costs

Unless otherwise stated in writing, transportation, freight, customs charges, travel expenses, installation costs, and equipment downtime are generally not covered under warranty.

Customers are responsible for any costs not expressly included in the applicable warranty.

11. Limitation of Warranty

Except as required by applicable law or expressly stated in writing, this Warranty Policy replaces all other warranties, whether express or implied.

ETS Tractors does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that equipment will be suitable for every specific application.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ETS Tractors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of business
  • Loss of crops
  • Operational downtime
  • Lost profits
  • Rental equipment costs
  • Transportation delays
  • Third-party expenses

13. Policy Updates

ETS Tractors reserves the right to revise this Warranty Policy at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website with a revised effective date.
